WHAT IS THE KMCA?

Established on October 7, 1976, the Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association (KMCA) is a professional organization dedicated to developing trust in municipal government. It provides opportunities for education, professional development, personal growth, and leadership. The KMCA encourages new and innovative ideas to enable members to fulfill and discharge their official duties for promoting the office of the Kentucky Municipal Clerk.

The next KMCA Membership Meeting will be held on Friday, April 17 at 8am during the annual Spring Conference in Owensboro. You do not need to be a paid registrant to attend the membership meeting.

Hello Kentucky Clerks – It is that time of year again when we recognize one of our own clerks as Clerk of the Year. The nomination form below is due back to me by February 28th All of my contact information is listed below. Please read the award policy carefully for all nominee criteria. Each regional chapter can nominate one individual from their region or another KMCA region and must be made by the Regional Chapter President with letters of support encouraged. This nominee should be chosen by the majority of the region’s members.  Nominations can also be made by Mayors and City administrators/Managers. We no longer allow peer-to-peer nominations. As always if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (sandrad@eminenceky.net) or any other committee member which includes Debbie Batliner (dbatliner@hotmail.com) and Mary Scott (mary.scott@bellevueky.org).
