SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
CALLING ALL CLERKS! - Monday, August 02, 2010

The KMCA Public Relations Committee needs your help! Once again KLC has offered us a booth to promote our organization at the KLC Expo. Last year we were able to reach a lot of people and share the benefits of membership in KMCA. Thanks to all the cities that donated items we were able to give away a prize every 30 minutes, which made our booth very popular!
Please help us make our booth a success again this year by donating an item for our drawing. Any city that would like to donate can (1) bring the item to the fall academy at Barren River or (2) bring the item to the KLC Conference or (3) send the item to one of the committee members who are Karen Barto (Alexandria), Sandy Doane (Eminence), Cheryl Chasteen (Berea), and Joy Roark (Flemingsburg).  Anyone who has questions about the booth or prize items please call Joy at (606) 845-5951. Thank you in advance for your support.
Joy Roark, Chair
KMCA Public Relations Committee

Membership Meeting

The most recent KMCA Membership Meeting was held in conjunction with our Spring Conference on Wednesday April 14, 2010 in Covington.  The next membership meeting will be held August 20, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Barren River State Park.  After a vote at the 2010 Spring Conference, we are changing the fall meeting from coinciding with the KLC Convention to being held during the Master Municipal Clerks Academy.  This will be a regular KMCA membership meeting and we hope that everyone will try to attend.  You do not need to be a paid registrant for the entire program to attend the membership meeting, so if you cannot attend all days you are still welcome to join us for the business meeting.
