The Barren River Municipal Clerks Association is a Regional Chapter of the KMCA.  The chapter meets regularly and focuses on education for their membership.  The Education Committee schedules many training sessions throughout the year for the Clerks, City Council Members, City Commissioners, Mayors, City Managers and other staff.

The Barren River Area Development District includes cities in ten counties (Butler Co., Edmonson Co., Hart Co., Logan Co., Warren Co., Barren Co., Metcalfe Co., Simspson Co., Allen Co., and Monroe Co.) 

BRMCA welcomes members from such cities as:

Adairville, Auburn, Bonnieville, Bowling Green, Brownsville, Cave City, Edmonton, Fountain Run, Franklin, Gamaliel, Glasgow, Horse Cave, Lewisburg, Morgantown, Munfordville, Oakland, Park City, Plum Springs, Rochester, Russellville, Scottsville, Smiths Grove, Tompkinsville, Woodburn and Woodbury.
