Welcome to the Northern Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association Page!

Greetings from NKMCA,

Thank you for viewing our page!  The membership of our regional chapter is made up of municipal clerks from the cities in Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Pendleton, Grant, Owen, Carroll, and Gallatin Counties.  If you are a current or retired city clerk from the area please join us for a meeting! The Northern KY Chapter of KMCA is comprised of members from this eight-county area.

We meet regularly on the third Thursday of each month at noon for a luncheon meeting and we average an attendance of about 20 members and guests at each meeting.  The luncheon cost / meeting fee is $12 per person per meeting.  Special guest speakers are invited to some meetings while others are devoted to discussion of current issues and regular business or special round table sessions on a pertinent topic.  Contact the Regional Director, the Regional Representative or any member to find out the next meeting date and location.  We try to rotate meetings throughout the area so that participants will find at least a few meetings a year will be held very close to their office.  We also schedule special training sessions on topics chosen by the membership and these are usually free to NKMCA members. Our membership dues of $15 are payable each January.  NKMCA members network on a regular basis whether it is in person at meetings, on the telephone or via email sharing information and solutions to our common challenges.

Remembering a friend

The Clerks in Northern Kentucky lost a great friend when Carole Huber passed away in 2007 after a long battle with breast cancer.  Carole served as City Clerk in Cold Spring for 23 years.  In recognition of her great contributions and service to the City, Cold Spring named their ball fields after her.  The Clerks had a tree planted there to help everyone remember our beautiful friend.  As NKMCA Director in 2005, she stood up at a meeting and said she wanted all her friends to take care of themselves and reminded us early detection is essential.  (This is a link to a tribute.)
