Lana Greene is the new City Clerk in Eddyville after having worked as the Water Clerk. Our congratulations on the promotion!
Kayla Bebout, City Clerk of Eddyville, has announced her last day with the City will be June 25th. Kayla worked very hard to help plan the Spring Conference and has been a great asset to the Pennyrile Clerk’s Association and her City. I have enjoyed getting to know her both personally and professionally. I hope everyone will join me in wishing her luck as she begins her new career as Finance Administrator for Pennyrile District Health Department. Go Kayla!!(Submitted 5/29/09)
I haven’t given you any updates lately, so here’s what I can think of.
Wende Aldridge, Assistant City Clerk, Hopkinsville, and Secretary of Pennyrile Clerks, and her husband Chris welcomed their third child, Paxton James, into the world January 22nd.
Sheryl Byrum was hired as the City Clerk in Crofton.
We continue to work with the Purchase clerks on the Spring Conference scheduled April 15-17th at Kentucky Dam Village. We have some awesome speakers, fabulous food, and great door prizes! Registration forms will be available soon.

Thanks to Tamie Johnson, Karen Wilson, and Jeff Lamb for preparing the flyer for Spring Conf. 2009 which will be held April 15 - 17 at Kentucky Dam Village. We are looking to providing some excellent refresher courses as well as training on new topics.
